Yesterday I used the iphone 11 pro app to follow and record a trail (I'm coming from an Android device). we went on the top of a mountain that is 1999m (official). I had a polar watch indicating 1998 whereas the Wikiloc iPhone app was indicating 1957, a huge error. Along the whole path, or part of it, an altitude error around 40-50m was visible. The ID of the trail is this: 51859987. Compared to the trail I followed (2917921) the error is very evident. Is there something wrong with the app or the mobile GPS? Many thanks M.
